The Cutera Titan is a revolutionary, in-room, non-invasive treatment that uses infrared light to heat the dermis deep beneath your skin’s surface to boost collagen production. It is best used for tightening and treating loose skin on the face and neck and around the abdomen, inner and outer thighs, buttocks, knees and flanks. Absolutely no downtime or recovery period is necessary.
For our clients who request Titan treatment to facial areas, we offer a facial to go with the Titan treatment using our Medical Grade skincare Ultraceuticals. This includes: double deep cleanse, glycolic and or enzyme exfoliation peel, hydration masks, serums and creams.
How does Titan work?
This treatment utilises a safe infrared light to heat the dermis well below the skin's surface. During the procedure, the skin's top surface (epidermis) is protected through continuous cooling with the Titan handpiece. Titan's light-based platform provides a more uniform distribution of energy for heating the deep dermis than other energy sources
What areas can be treated?
The most popular areas that our clients request to have treated is the lower face and the neck. We have seen outstanding long-term and immediate results with one treatment. Some clients may require two treatments, 4 weeks apart. We have also seen fantastic results with the upper arm, abdomen, brow and upper cheek. Since the Titan procedure heats tissue under the skin's surface, patients of any skin type or age can be treated.
What do treatments feel like?
With each Titan pulse of up to 8 seconds you will feel a heating sensation. You will also feel the handpiece gliding back and forth on top of a cool gel, very much like a small hot stone massage. The treated area will experience several passes with the handpiece. As the dermis is being heated with infrared, collagen cells are awakening.
What happens after treatment?
Immediately following the treatment, you will see the difference to the treated area. The skin will look more radiant, tighter and firmer.
The condition of the skin will continue to improve as the collagen that has been stimulated is maturing (this takes up to 12 weeks). As there is no downtime with this treatment, you may continue with normal activities and attend events.
How many treatments are required?
A single treatment is able to produce very good results but, for optimal results, we recommend two to four treatments.
