3D Skin Rejuvenation therapy from Cutera is a combination of laser and light-based treatments that work together to address the most common conditions of skin ageing – sun damage, age spots, broken capillaries, diffuse redness, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, fine scars and skin laxity – at both the skin’s surface and its deeper levels. The three elements of 3D Skin Rejuvenation are Limelight Facial, Laser Genesis, and Titan.
What conditions is it good for?
3D Skin Rejuvenation is used as a combined treatment where the skin has lost its firmness, has surface wrinkles or scars, redness, brown spots, broken capillaries or enlarged pores. The most popular areas treated are the face, neck and chest. Other body parts such as the hands, arms and abdomen are also frequently treated.
What does it feel like?
Limelight Facial delivers a series of light pulses. When each pulse of light is delivered, you may feel a mild, brief pinching sensation.
The Laser Genesis treatment is gentle and soothing. During the session you will feel a series of warm pulses along your skin.
The Titan treatment delivers a cool sensation with each pulse, followed by a brief heating sensation, which is then followed by another cool feeling. Most patients are comfortable throughout the treatments without medication, however a few prefer taking a mild pain reliever beforehand. Your treating practitioner will be able to provide you with more information.
How many treatments are required?
As each client's skin is different, we can provide an indication of how many treatments will be necessary after the initial consultation. However, as a guideline, most patients can expect between two and six treatments.
